The uprisings of people in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have fallen victim to the double-standard policies of the western so-called defenders of democracy. Western governments and media try not to cover the demonstrations of Bahraini and Saudi people as if nothing has happened in these two countries. But actually the liberating popular uprisings continue in these two states. So far thousands of people have been killed, injured or detained during the demonstrations of Saudis and Bahrainis. During the recent weeks in Saudi Arabia thousands of people have sympathized with the families of prisoners and protested to the widespread detention of the political and social activists. In the latest encounter with the justice-seeking demands of people, Al-Saud threatened the citizens to confront them seriously in case of taking part in any demonstrations. The regime has intensified violence against demonstrators and so far it has martyred, injured and detained dozens of Shiite citizens. The Islamic awakening in Saudi Arabia has mainly affected the eastern Qatif province more than any other regions. The majority of the population consists of Shiites who are deprived of the least rights of citizenship and even they are not allowed to conduct their religious rituals. Actually the Saudi Shiites are exposed to severe oppression, discrimination, injustice and ignorance of primary rights. The liberating movement of the Saudi Shiites is different from the movement of the previous years. This time, all of the Saudi people have risen against the despotism of Al-Saud hereditary regime. About 2 years have passed since the beginning of Islamic awakening in the region. Al-Saud as the elder brother of the Arab dictatorial and tribal regimes has attempted through financial, political and military support to prevent their collapse. Al-Saud failed to save the dictators of Tunisia, Egypt and Yemen. But the Saudis' support for Al-Khalifa and monarchic regimes of Jordan and Morocco still continues. The power of Al-Saud is waning not only outside the country but inside the oil-rich country. It is just the multi-hundred billion dollar incomes that have preserved the Al-Saud regime. This year Al-Saud had a different Hajj season. The world Muslims are angry with Al-Saud's indifference and taciturnity vis-a-vis the recent blasphemy against the messenger of mercy Prophet Mohammad (SAWA). Al-Saud which calls itself “the servant of the two shrines” showed no reaction. This shows well how much the government supports the US anti-Islamic and domineering policies. Every year the Saudis ban the ceremony of disavowal of unbelievers during Hajj rituals. This indicates the concern of Al-Saud of the anger of the world Muslims. Now the Saudis rely on the US support for the survival of their government. They are well aware that in the wake of Islamic uprising in the Middle East, the US has lost a number of its close puppet regimes and some others are in the queue to collapse. For this reason, Saudi Arabia has turned into the most important US base in the region and the US by selling the most advanced weapons to Saudi Arabia has turned this country into the depot of US arms. The sale of all these weapons to Saudi Arabia returns the oil dollars to the US on the one hand and causes US military corporations to thrive making the Al-Saud more dependent on the US. Just as the US supports Al-Saud in suppressing the uprising of the Saudi people specially the Shiites in the east, Al-Saud makes a considerable assistance to the US for pushing forward its policies in the Middle East. Now Al-Saud is the US stooge in the Middle East. The role of Saudi Arabia in suppressing the uprising of Yemen, Bahrain and Syria is undeniable. Following the uprising of Bahraini people in March 2011, Al-Saud dispatched hundreds of military forces to the country. The noteworthy point is that the measure was taken under the direct support of the US and Britain and the silence of other claimants of freedom and democracy in the west. During this period, scores of Bahraini people were martyred and injured and thousands of others were detained. Months have passed of the uprising of Bahraini people. Despite the ferocious suppression by Al-Saud and its full authority to use all ways of crack-down without being concerned of criticisms or the so-called human rights bodies, the Bahraini r is revolution is still alive and dynamic. The Bahrainis still pour to the streets with high incentive for pursuing their justice-seeking demands and chant slogans against the despotic and tribal government of Al-Khalifa. The Bahraini political activist Ali Moshaima in an interview with Al-Alaam news network said, “With the passage of time and escalation of Al-Khalifa suppressions, the popular uprising has speeded up. The insistence on the presence of the occupying Saudi forces in Bahrain and the continued US and British support for Al-Khalifa regime prove that the regime is not open to reforms; so people will pursue their revolution through whatever means.” Moshaima considered the insistence of Bahrain's revolutionary youths on continuing demonstrations as the factor for breaking up the security fence of Manama regime. He reiterated that in different regions of Bahrain, the security forces attack and beat people every day but in view of the presence of some foreign activists in Manama, any suppression by people will boomerang serious impacts for the regime. In the past few days, waging nationwide demonstrations in Manama has increased. The political activist and commentator Chris Bambry in an interview with the Iranian Al-Alaam news network said, “The revolution of Bahraini people is an inseparable part of the Islamic Awakening and the people of Bahrain call for regime change. He added that without the support of the US, Britain and Saudi Arabia, Al-Khalifa regime would be certainly overthrown. The western states pay more attention to equipping the Arab regimes of the Persian Gulf than the situation of human rights in Bahrain. They need Bahrain as a military base. Thus the liberating uprising of Bahraini and Saudi people can be considered two forgotten Islamic revolutions in the Middle East which have fallen victim to the west's double-standard policies on democracy and human rights.
