The Islamic Republic of Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has emphasized that the imposition of sanctions by the Global Arrogance against independent countries manifests the weakness of arrogant powers in confrontation with the logic of independent nations. President Ahmadinejad, who has traveled to New York to attend the 67th annual meeting of the UN General Assembly, in a meeting with his Bolivian counterpart, Evo Morales, expressed his content about the appropriate relations maintained between the two countries, while thanking Bolivia's cooperation in holding of the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran. President Ahmadinejad praised the just stand of Bolivia in the global scene and its support for independent nations, adding that Iran and Bolivia will continue to maintain their fraternal relations. In further remarks, President Ahmadinejad said that the enemies of independent nations know better than anyone else that sanctions and pressures won't get anywhere. Meanwhile, the Bolivian president, for his part, congratulated Tehran on the successful NAM Summit meetings in Tehran and voiced support for the ratifications in these meetings. The Bolivian president also called for further reinforcement of the two countries' mutual cooperation and relations.
