Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouk, the deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas, said that the PA president Mahmoud Abbas is angry over the Egyptian neutrality towards the various Palestinian factions. The saying "Egypt stands at the same distance from the Palestinian factions" was always used by the former Egyptian regime without disturbing Abbas because he knew that the Egyptian previous regime was biased 100% to the PA, Abu Marzouk explained in an interview on Monday with Ashraq al- Awsat newspaper. Hamas welcomes the pivotal role that Egypt is going to play in re-wheeling Palestinian national unity, and ending the division, Abu Marzouk added, saying that Abbas should share the same position. Furthermore, Abu Marzouk announced on his Facebook page, that a meeting held in Cairo on Sunday evening between Hamas leadership and the Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, in Qasr al-Qobba in Cairo, concerning the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and the national reconciliation issue.
