In November 11, during the broadcasting of the Russian radio program ”Paorama” the speakers highlighted a relation that they see linking between Israel and the bomb attacks that rocked the Jordanian capital Amman recently, and another link between the assassination of Rafiq Al Hariri and the U.S. The speakers believe that the bomb attacks in Jordan ”furthered the chances of Mohamed Dahlan to replace Mahmoud Abbas as leader of Palestinian National Authority,” according to Global Research.ca. As for Al Hairi`s assassination it will help the U.S. to weaken the Syrian President, Bashar Al- Asad and give the U.S. the chance to get over him. The bombings in Amman caused a shock to the Arab and the international world. The bombings targeting three hotels in Amman, the capital of a country that had always been away from such turmoil and unrest, was carried out in November 9th leaving dozens of injured and dead from different nationalities. Shamil Sultanov, member of the State Duma International Affairs Committee, stated on the Global Research.ca that following Jordan`s attacks, King Abdullah, who is half English, will now have the chance to impose his policies and changes he always wanted to implement in Jordan- what kept him was the continuous clahses with the old authority members. Sultanov, moreover, said that the bombings are linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The illness of Abbas, the leader of the Palestinian National Authority, is threatening the position of his party (Fatah). His illness would cause the party to lose the upcoming parliamentary elections. He stressed that if Syria wanted to put pressure on Lebanon or Al-Hariri it would have resorted to many other ways rather than violence. Akhmedov says that the U.S. was behind the bomb attack that killed the former Lebanese Prime Minister. He explains that killing Al Hariri was a way to spoil the good relation between Syria and France because Chirac and Bashar were known to be very good friends. They were allies. So, by killing Al Hariri and accusing Syria, the U.S. managed to ruin relations between Syria and France. But Washington failed to make the Syrians give up or lose trust in their government. The assassination of Al Hariri resulted in the withdrawal of the Syrian troops from Lebanon. The investigation held by UN Probe Chief Detlev Mehlis, to uncover the truth of Al Hariri`s assassination is mainly pointing out to Syria as the murderer. The latest news in the Mehlis investigation is the new revealings by Syrian Hossam Taher Hossam, who switched his testimony after he accused some Syrian officials of murdering Al Hariri. He suddenly changed his testimony and said that he was exposed to pressure from the Lebanese side to accuse Syria. Hossam also mentioned that Saad Al-Hariri, know very well who killed his father. Hossam, now in Syria, is seeking protection from the Lebanese and Syrian side fearing he could now be targeted. Mehlis is scheduled to present his final report December 15.
