Iran-Britain-Protest Some 150 women demonstrated in front of British Embassy in Tehran on Monday to protest Britain\'s role in passing a resolution in the Board of Governors of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) against Iranian nuclear program. Representing 24 non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the demonstrators expressed disgust at the unjust resolution of the IAEA governing board against Iran and said that they will not overlook Iranian legitimate rights stipulated by Non-Proliferation Treaty. They issued a statement at the end of demonstration in which they supported the initiative put forward by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in his address to UN General Assembly meeting in September. President Ahmadinejad said in the General Assembly that Iranian nuclear program is transparent and Iran is ready to form partnership with public or private sectors of other countries to set up nuclear power plants. The demonstrators welcomed a motion in Majlis to debate a plan to suspend Additional protocol to NPT and said that they would support Majlis decision on the matter. \"Iran is neither Afghanistan, nor Iraq and the Iranian nation would fight to the last drop of their blood to defend the dignity and the Islamic and humanitarian values,\" said the statement. \"We will never yield to bullying or threats of the arrogant powers,\" it said. Iran has set up fuel cycle under Safeguards Agreement of IAEA and does not see it economical to import fuel from abroad for the power plants. Three European countries - France, Britain and Germany - have offered to supply Iran with fuel, but, Iran does not want to be dependent on other states.
