It is more right than ever to say that those who have power want more power those who have money want more money in any circumstances without any morals. So I wonder why some people complain about these facts, when this movie shows them to the viewers, if those people are for democracy, freedom and equality between all humans. Almost every mature man and woman knows and understands why the US has gone in to Iraq. After it has been covered up, what had been obvious to most of the Turkish and middle-eastern people, it was only a question of time, when such a movie would come out. \"Kurtlar Vadisi Irak\" or \"The Valley of Wolves: Iraq\" gives a little bit insight what is going on in a country, occupied by those who want more power and more money, whatever it may costs in human-lives and human-dignity. Is this an anti-Us movie? No this is an anti-war, anti-corruption and an anti-imperialism movie. \"Kurtlar Vadisi Irak\" does not condemn a whole nation like once \"Midnight Express\" did in the most shabby way, it damns those who know no ethical standards and show no respect to other cultures, religions and nations. The film starts with a Turkish army officer writing to Polat Alemdar about the American soldiers\' capturing of Turkish soldiers(the army officer was among them) in Suleimania, Northern Iraq. The event happened in Suleimania were taken from real life and they were long disputed in Turkey. After writing the letter, officer commits suicide due to humiliation he felt. Polat Alemdar tries to take the revenge of that event from the Americans and saves Turkish people\'s “national pride”. In some scenes, there were really Anti-American patterns. But overall, it is not quite an anti-American movie. The perception of America in the Middle East is hugely different from the American\'s own perception. For example Abu Ghuraib and Fallujah are two events that are hard to erase from people\'s mind. Also American way of labeling people as terrorist is another disputed subject. From these points it may seem Anti-American. In fact this film criticizes American operations in Iraq. In one scene, trigger-happy US troops massacre civilians at a wedding party. In another they firebomb a mosque during evening prayer. There are multiple summary executions. And for the first time, the real-life abuses by American soldiers at Abu Ghraib prison are played out on the big screen. Even the doctor - played by Gary Busey - is evil, removing human organs from Iraqi prisoners to send to patients in the US, Israel and Britain. All over the world already know what Americans have done in Iraq and the events depicted in this movie is the reality. Now through this movie you can see it on screen.
