Since Iran kicked out the pro-Zionist imperialists and supported the Palestinian cause, the Islamic Republic has been demonized by the US and other western media horns. The whole issue is not about nuclear energy, it is actually about the Palestinian cause, about Iran's support for Lebanon's legendry anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, about Iran's rich oil and gas resources that the US cannot exploit, and about Iran's rapid progress in scientific and other fields, including strategic defensive missiles. Moreover, the Islamic Iran is friendly towards all its neighbors, including Christian Armenia, and even Wahhabi Saudi Arabia, and this is the reason for US anger towards Tehran. In the words of former CNN correspondent, Amber Lyon, there is constant demonization of Syria, Iran and other countries on the US mainstream media. Here we present you the disclosure by Lyon made in an exclusive interview with Russia Today last Friday. Lyon said: “I think this is really harmful to journalism, the way these mainstream outlets follow in the steps of US administration.” She went on to say that Iran, in particular, is regularly demonized by mainstream US media outlets, describing the attitude as “dangerous to the American public because they are not being given the accurate story and accurate picture of our foreign policy." She added: "I fear that we are starting to see a constant demonization of Iran on US networks, in what appears to be a systematic matter.” The American journalist pointed to emerging concerns among “many” [US] journalists that “we are going to head into Iraq-Number-Two, except this time it’s with Iran.” Lyon also said that CNN was bribed by Bahrain’s regime to censor a documentary on its brutal crackdown on popular protests. The former CNN correspondent produced the documentary on the brutal suppression of nationwide protests in the Persian Gulf island state over six months ago and although it was aired domestically within the US, its broadcast on CNN International was suspiciously withheld, raising charges that the management of the mainstream TV network had pulled the plug on the news story. During the interview Lyon also revealed that CNN gets paid by despotic regimes to produce and broadcast what she referred to as “infomercials for dictators,” saying that the sponsored content of such pieces aired on CNN International “is actually being paid for by certain regimes, which violates every principle of journalistic ethics, because we’re supposed to be watchdogs on these governments.” She added: “And that’s the issue here, that CNN is feeding, then, this propaganda to the public and not fairly disclosing to the public that this is sponsored content.” She further noted that other than some Persian Gulf Arab regimes, CNN has also produced such sponsored ‘infomercials’ for governments of Georgia and Kazakhstan. Lyon elaborated on the hurdles she faced in Bahrain while trying to produce her news documentary, including an instance when she “sneaked into some of the villages” to witness atrocities such as shooting fleeing hospital patients by birdshot and beating of ambulance drivers, after which she was “violently detained” by masked and heavily armed Bahraini security forces who attempted to “erase all the video that they found [on us].” The US journalist then insisted that she and her female producer had to “hide some discs” to get them out of the country. “You can imagine Bahrain’s surprise when we got back to the US and this content was airing on CNN, and right after that is when the phone calls started coming into the network complaining about me and trying to get my coverage off the air,” she said. Unfortunately, the western media, without exception, pedal raw propaganda, and nothing less. The mainstream media in the US is a corporate media mostly either owned or run by the Zionists, and are known worldwide to lack credibility. The same is true about the Qatari Emir’s al-Jazeera TV network or the Saudi King’s al-Arabiyya network. These so-called news outlets manufacture news or put their spin on it to fit the interests of their owners. CNN, owned by Time Warner, Inc., along with other mainstream US media conglomerates, such as NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, New York Times, and Washington Post actually own and control so many other local and nationwide TV and radio channels as well as magazines and newspapers that they all have one thing in common, that is, they are all owned by Zionists, without exception. CNN's main anchor, Wolf Blitzer, is actually an Israeli citizen and used to be chief of the Jerusalem Post's bureau in Washington.... All these media empires work very closely with the US, and of course, the Israeli regimes. Their reporters all over the world actually operate as informants and intelligence agents for both CIA and Mossad.... and they are very good at fabricating news stories against Iran, Syria and any other governments that they don't like... Thus, the sad fact is that the Zionists have managed to take over and control every aspect of communication and used it as a tool to protect their interest and further their influence. This shadowing of truth and distortion of facts was possible in the past but today as the aging US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, admitted it, the west are losing the battle of information. It's Israel, not Iran, which owns nuclear weapons. It's Israel, not Iran, which builds hundreds of illegal settlements. It's Israel, not Iran, which imposes apartheid system in the occupied territories. It's Israel, not Iran, which said 9/11/2001 is good for our country – as Benjamin Netanyahu said eleven years ago. It's Israel, not Iran, which constantly kills foreign scientists and politicians. It's Israel, not Iran, which said it wants annihilate all Arabs. It's Israel, not Iran, which showers children with white phosphorous. It's Israel, not Iran, which traps 1.5 million human beings in an open air prison in Gaza. It's Israel, not Iran, which killed the crew of the ship, USS Liberty. It's Israel, not Iran, which wiped out 700.000 people from their hometown. It's Israel, not Iran, which has a government that originated from a terrorist gang (Irgun to Likud). It's Israel, not Iran, which violates UN resolutions more than any other country on earth. It's Israel, not Iran, which doesn't want the entire Middle East free from nuclear weapons. It's Israel, not Iran, which refuses to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty. It's Iran, not Israel, which want to use nuclear weapon. And yet despite these facts, the US and other western media horns, systematically demonize Iran while turning a blind eye to the crimes against humanity of the Israeli regime.
