Member of Central Council and Head of Imam Khomeini Relief Committee (IKRC) on Wednesday said that the organization has decided to build 2000 houses for flood affected people in Pakistan in the current year. Hossein Anvari responding to a question posed by the correspondent of IRNA after holding a meeting with Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Farzana Raja said that the IKRC had built 1500 houses for Pakistani flood victims in last two years which have been handed over to the authorities in Pakistan. He said that as par the orders of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini Relief Committee gathered aid from the people of Iran and handed over to the concerned authorities in Pakistan. Hossein Anvari said that ‘in today’s meeting we have reviewed the decisions that were taken during my last visit to Pakistan.’ He said the IKRC has decided to build 2000 in Pakistani flood affected area and the project would be completed in time. Talking to reporters the Iranian Official said that he is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Chairperson Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Farzana Raja. He said that Farzana Raja had also visited Iran recently. He added that Iranian delegation has held constructive meetings with Pakistani officials in Karachi and Islamabad.
