Moroccan Parliament Speaker Abdul-Vahed al-Razi said in a meeting with an Iranian Vice President in Rabat on Friday that taking advantage of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is all countries`, including Iran`s, natural right. The Moroccan Parliament Speaker who had a meeting with Iran`s visiting Vice President in Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Hojatoleslam Seyed Ahmad Moussavi, also emphasized on the need for continuous support of the Islamic nations and governments for the righteous freedom-seeking struggle of the Palestinian nation. According to IRNA correspondent in Rabat, the two sides meanwhile exchanged viewpoints on bilateral, regional and international developments. Moussavi meanwhile elaborated on the latest developments in Iran`s nuclear dossier and explained Islamic Republic of Iran`s basic stands on its right to take peaceful advantage of the nuclear energy in accordance with the international laws and under the supervision of the IAEA. Ahmadinejad`s Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Vice President said, ”The nuclear research works that are recently resumed in Iran were halted some two years ago voluntarily, and therefore making such a hue and cry over them is truly illogical.” Moussavi said, ”Supporting the ideals of the Palestinian nation must be atop the agendas of all Islamic countries, since the Muslim nations attach utmost importance to the issue and ask their affiliated governments to support the liberation movement of Palestine and the Holy Qods.” The Moroccan Parliament Speaker agreed with the Iranian Vice President on the need to back up the Palestinian nation more than ever before under the current tough conditions. He referred to the full scale support of the late Moroccan King Hassan II, and that country`s current leader King Muhammad VI for the righteous liberation movement of the Palestinian nation. Al-Razi said, ”Establishment of a fund exclusively for the support of the liberation of the Holy Qods and the righteous struggles of the Palestinian nation in Morocco has been in line with those policies.” The Moroccan Parliament Speaker said, ”We too favor the expansion of bilateral parliamentary ties with Iran.” Iran`s Vice President in Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Hojatoleslam Seyed Ahmad Moussavi had before his visit of Morocco held talks with officials in Egypt, Libya and Algeria. The officials in all those north African countries, too, had in their meetings with the Iranian Vice President emphasized on Iran`s right to have access to nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and criticized the West`s double-standards on the issue.
